Privacy policy
Kingdom of the Keys is a typing program for children, run by a parent account. We collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Parent account: the parent's email address, a hashed password, and a hashed 4-digit parent PIN.
- Typist profiles: a nickname and a color chosen by the parent. We do not ask for a child's full name, birthday, photo, school, or location.
- Progress: lesson stars, typing speed and accuracy, which keys are missed, game scores, and practice minutes by day.
How we use it
Only to run the program: saving progress so kids pick up where they left off, showing the parent view, and sending account emails such as password resets. We do not sell data, show ads, or share data with advertisers.
Children
Accounts are created by a parent or guardian. Children never enter an email address or personal details. A parent can remove a typist profile and all of its progress at any time from Parent view.
Service providers
Data is stored with our database provider (Turso), the app is hosted on Railway, and account emails are sent through Resend.
Deleting your account
Email us from your parent email address to delete the account and everything in it.
